Life begins at conception:

CFAC has enthusiastically joined arms with Colorado for Equal Rights to place a constitutional amendment on the 2008 ballot that will define life as beginning at conception.

This measure will place into law what we already know – that a child is a person... whose life should be protected.

Human Life Amendment Press Conference, Signature Turn In, and Victory Rally

Colorado for Equal Rights will hold an event to submit gathered signatures to the Secretary of State's office after making an important announcement of the number of signatures gathered to place the personhood initiative on the ballot. Colorado For Equal Rights needs at least 76,047 signatures to turn in May 13th.

With the help of hundreds of churches and over 1,000 volunteers, Colorado For Equal Rights is expected to present well over the required number of signatures to the Secretary of State. After the press conference, some volunteers will march signatures to the Secretary of State's office. Colorado is now in a position to be the first State in America to have "personhood" on the ballot.
